AJEM is a Turkish artist, songwriter, and producer who began playing guitar at 8 and writing her own compositions at 11. After graduating first in her class in Civil Engineering, she completed her first master's degree in Entrepreneurship abroad.
Back in Turkey, AJEM fully committed to music — releasing her first independent singles "Kuzgun," "Fark Etmez," and "Pişman Eder" in 2020. She then earned a second master's in Sound Engineering and Design at ITU MIAM, leading to two years of studio work with legendary Turkish musician Özdemir Erdoğan. In 2024, she moved to Los Angeles to join the Artist/Producer/Entrepreneur program at Musicians Institute.
A lymphoma diagnosis in spring 2025 brought her back to Turkey — a period that became a creative turning point. She returned in December 2025 with the self-produced "Tenimdeki Aşkın," continuing with "Bütün Yüzler Benziyor" and "Hangi Cemrede Dönersin?" Blending indie pop, acoustic textures, electronic production, and story-driven lyrics, AJEM creates from her studio in Bursa.
